Our Philanthropies
Junior Guild is dedicated to helping charities in
our Northwest Houston community. Volunteering builds character, empathy, and selflessness, and offers
high school girls an opportunity to give back to their community and make a difference to the people
around them.
Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM)
NAM is a nonprofit, community-based, multi-program social service agency that strives to supply basic human needs through neighbors helping neighbors. Volunteers help in the resale shop, in the food pantry stocking shelves, with the Back to School Drive, Meals on Wheels, or wherever needed.
Barbara Bush Library
Our community library uses volunteers to assist in various library jobs, including shelving books, sorting cards, putting together pamphlets, and various other activities.
Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAM)
TEAM is a nonprofit, faith-based organization that serves those in the Tomball, Texas area, by providing short-term assistance with food, clothing, shelter, and financial assistance. Volunteers help in the resale shop and food pantry.
Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts
The museum provides first-hand access to original works of art and other culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant objects to
a regional, national, and international audience. Volunteers assist with Summer Family Days, Drop-in-Art Wednesdays, and Fall Family Days.
Abandoned Animal Rescue
AAR’s mission is to work towards ending pet overpopulation that results in the euthanasia of unwanted cats and dogs. We do this by providing a rescue and adoption center, by emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering and by educating on humane animal ownership.

Self Improvement through Riding Education (SIRE)
The mission of SIRE is to improve the quality of life for people with special needs through therapeutic horsemanship activities and therapies and educational outreach. Volunteers will walk or lead horses and riders. Volunteers may also help with administrative or maintenance tasks in or around the barns.
Texas Master Chorale
The Texas Master Chorale seeks to promote the appreciation of quality choral music by providing opportunities for Houston’s northwest suburban community to experience the performance of choral repertoire and masterworks as either artist or patron.
Veteran's Affairs
Helping our veterans in their time of need. From placing a wreath or flag on a headstone, babysitting during family services, or sitting with a veteran and just listening to stories.
Foundation for Arts & Community Enrichment (FACE)
FACE is a nonprofit foundation that provides cultural arts programming and educational opportunities for the community. Volunteers work during concerts by greeting patrons, handing out programs, and assisting with merchandise sales.
Autumn Leaves (Alzheimer's Facility)
Autumn Leaves is a memory care unit that is home to around 35 residents, primarily geriatric. Volunteers assist with monthly family nights, Sunday activities, and drop-in afternoon shifts are available.
Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Harris County
Habitat for Humanity is a non-governmental, nonprofit organization dedicated to building simple, decent, and affordable housing. Volunteers that are 16 years or older (accompanied by a parent if younger than 18) are able to participate in building opportunities. Younger members can volunteer by serving snow cones.
